Holiday bookings/sickness and absents monitoring. Multiple forklift truck licenses. PC skills using oracle windows-based system, input of shift production targets. Responsible for all aspects of staff training needs and quarterly personal development needs. Setting shift KPIs.
Developed strong working relationships with shift personnel using a hands-on approach showing the need for a strong productivity attitude and decreasing the overtime requirement needs for weekend working.

Responsible for all production issues, staffing, training, recruitment, H/S, product quality. Working with 8 blow molding machines producing multiple size milk bottles. Ensuring constant supply to the dairy. Responsible for 16 staff members working a 4 on 4 off shift rotation pattern.
Daily, weekly, monthly team briefs including all departments. Gaining a level 3 food hygiene and safety certificate. Input of all production data and targets. Material handling from delivery of virgin material to blow molders, including monitoring of waste material and regrind.
Introduced a slower but increased percentage of regrind material into production generating a cost saving and reduction of scrap material.

INJECTION MOLDING SHIFT MANAGER, DYSON APPLIANCES
Responsible for production, startup/shut downs of 10 injection molding machines. Managing setters, engineers, machine operators. Responsible for product quality, H&S, all aspects of material issues from delivery to end products. Dryers hoppers maintenance. Control of virgin material/regrind. Conducting communication briefs between all relevant departments.
Increased production output whilst implementing machine startup times on a one by one basis as apposed to several start up at once. Removing the excess time needed to maintain a machine at its optimal performance.

Prior to moving into the above position, responsible for 3 production lines. 60 operators on each line including cell leaders and line supervisors. Experience of FMCG. Multiple managerial courses including facilitating winning teams.
Prior to this position I worked as a production line operator, working my way from this to cell leader onto line supervisor. Gaining a grounded education in people management skills.
