Freelance Site Management Services. October 2018 – Present
Employed on a freelance basis for Diamond Safety Projects. Currently overseeing all aspects of Health and Safety on the Heating installation within a fully operational Amazon warehouse.
Lioncourt Homes. November 2017 – September 2018
Ellis Gardens, Newton, Rugby
40 No. Traditional new build properties ranging from two bedroom housing association homes to five bedroom open market.
Started on site in May 2018 and have taken the development from roads and sewers up to the completion of two show plots whilst pushing stock production. Having all foundations in the ground, bar one, with all plots at various stages of build.
Poppyfields, Shirley
Upon joining Lioncourt Homes I was asked to assist in the completion and handover of 28 No. properties for end of year, March 2018. The properties varied in levels of completion from Wall Plate to second fix. All plots were completed in time, and a large number exchanged, helping Lioncourt to exceed company targets/forecast.

Bovis Homes, West Midlands. January 2017 – November 2017
Bidford Leys, Salford Road, Bidford on Avon
150 No. traditionally built homes ranging from two bedroom bungalows to five bedroom homes up to a value of £619,000. The site includes both open market and housing association properties.
Starting in January 2017 I took the development from the first stages of roads and sewers, completed the show home, handed over the first occupations and was responsible for customer care. During this time I was able to continually achieve some of the best results in the region for the lowest ‘Spend per notional build’ and Reportable Item rates with the NHBC.
In May Bovis promoted a Telehandler Driver to the position of Trainee Assistant Site Manager. Though an increase in workload I had the pleasure of assisting with his training and development up to him receiving promotion to Assistant Site Manager.

FSG Property Services. March 2016 – January 2017
Badsey Homes, Bretforton Road, Badsey. Client – Paul Newman New Homes
27 No. traditional build properties comprising 1 to 5 bedroom homes for open market, shared ownership and full rental. Including a five bedroom executive property with a Thatched roof.
As well as the day to day running of production and safety my duties include assisting in material and subcontract procurement. With FSG being relatively new to housebuilding they had no Subcontract or Material buyer and no design and build department, because of this these duties fell into the site manager’s role.

Galliford Try Partnerships Central. Nov 2014 – March 2016
Jarvis Road, Erdington, West Midlands. Client – BMHT. Value £14.2m
116 No. traditional build properties comprising 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes. 50% open market and 50% Rental.
I had been the sole manager on the project up to my leaving Galliford Try. At that point the ongoing works included Roads and Sewers, and Phase 1 build which comprised 24 No. properties, all at various stages of build from foundation to wall plate.

Stowheath Lane, Wolverhampton. Client – Midland Heart Housing. Value £3.14m
30 No. traditional build properties, all piled foundations, comprising 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes for and on behalf of Midland Heart Housing Association.
I arrived on this project as Site Manager during the Road and Sewers works and took it through to completion and handover.

Persimmon Homes (Charles Church). Oct 2013 – Nov 2014
Blossom Fields, Evesham.
151 No. Traditional build properties comprising 2, 3 & 4 Bedroom Homes including Housing Association and Charles Church.
Brought onto site to assist the newly appointed site manager with all aspects of production.

Marston Grange & Meon View, Long Marston, Stratford-Upon-Avon.
284 No. timber frame properties comprising 1, 2, 3 & 4 Bedroom Homes including Housing Association and 54 No Charles Church Luxury Homes.
Assisted the Site Manager with the running of the development and the completion of the Charles Church show home. After two months I took sole responsibility of the Charles Church side of the site, managing the construction of our high end product from the ground up, through to occupation and customer care.

Bullock Construction. 2007 – Oct 2013
Garage Infill Sites, Romsley and Bromsgrove. Client – BDHT
27 No. properties comprising 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes over 7 Sites.
Completed all site investigations, including drainage, asbestos and environmental together with the relevant subcontractors. Developed the Construction Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Plans for all seven sites to the satisfaction of the client and the CDMC.
Continued to manage two of the sites in Romsley, Halesowen through to second fix, after overseeing the asbestos removal and demolition of the existing garages. During which time I assisted in the training and development of a newly appointed general foreman.

Well Place, Blakenhall, Walsall. Client – BDHT
32 No. 2 and 3 bedroom homes. On site as number two, assisting the site Manager with the day to day running of the development through to completion.

CMPG, Birmingham. Client – West Mercia Police – Value £2.4
Acting as number two from Steel frame through to completion and handover. The project comprised:
• Steel frame with rain screen cladding
• Velfac composite windows and curtain walling
• Standing seam roof
• Re-fuelling station
• Fully compliant BMS system
• Redevelopment of existing garage block
• Sensitive construction project due to funding issues
• Management of police vetting procedures (security)
• High level of finishes
• Commercial BREEAM Very Good requirement
• Live motorway activities adjacent to site which could have impacted on production

Two Rivers Housing – Mitcheldean
Year one of a decent homes project refurbishing social housing units including new kitchens and bathrooms.
Brought in to assist the site manager and stream manager in the completion of the year one units. After a few weeks I was asked to take over the contract in place of the existing management team to bring it up to speed, clear a large backlog and hand over year one, assisting with the winning of year two in the process.

Norse Road, Bedford. Client Optima Housing –Value £3.3m
48 No. properties comprising 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes and bungalows, two of which were built to full mobility standards, and all to Life Time Homes.
Assisted the newly appointed Project Manager with the set-up of the compound and site files. At the same time working on:

The Limes, Newport Pagnell. Client – Methodist Homes
49 No. 1 and 2 bedroom apartments designed to make life comfortable for people in later life. The development was arranged over three levels with a lift and wheelchair access throughout. I assisted in the completion and handover of this purpose-built development.

Fire Bird, Birmingham. Client Optima Housing Value £2.8m
30 No. timber frame units consisting of 14 houses and 16 flats.
Brought onto the development in the later stages to assist the Project manager in bringing the development through to completion and handover.

Sunny mead Way & Gainsborough Crescent, Sutton Coldfield. Client – WHG £500k
5 No. Bungalows over two sites with limited space and access, two miles apart. One of which was completed to Code for Sustainable homes Level 4 the others at Level 3.
I ran these two sites as Site manager with a trainee assistant site manager providing cover. Developed the Health and Safety plans before the start of the project paying particular attention to the needs and sensitivities of surrounding elderly neighbours.
Achieved a Considerate Constructor’s national Bronze award for Sunny mead Way and a Certificate of Performance Beyond Compliance for Gainsborough Crescent.

Hudson’s Drive, Cotteridge. Client – Optima housing Value £4.2m
22 No. houses and a five storey 18 unit apartment block
Oversaw the demolition of the existing industrial units and continued on site as General Foreman under the project manager until the completion of the houses.
This site achieved the LABC Best Social Housing Development Award 2009, the Daily Telegraph British Homes Build Quality Award and was shortlisted for the RICS Regeneration Award.

Briar Croft Stratford upon Avon. Client – Orbit Housing – Phase 1 & 2 Value £9.8m
Phase 1 – 28 No. Self-contained one and two bedroom retirement apartments, communal areas, plant room and industrial kitchen.
Phase 2 – A further 32 No. Self-contained apartments with extra care and additional communal areas.
Briar Croft was my first site for Bullock construction, I started in 2007 as a General Foreman to assist the Project team in taking Phase one of the project through to completion. After being allocated to a number of other sites I later returned to assist in the finishing of Phase two.

David Wilson Homes – Assistant Site Manager and Site Manager – 2003 – 2007
• The Village, Shipston on Stour – 121 units, consisting of 2 to 5 bed homes including apartments and Housing Association. Started as Assistant but returned to complete the project as Site Manager.
• Archers Croft, Redditch – 122 units, consisting of 2 to 5 bed homes including apartments and Housing Association. Assistant Site Manager though set the site up at the start of the project.
• The Hawthorns, Stratford Upon Avon – 12 social housing units. As Assistant Site Manager I was brought in to complete the homes and hand over to Bromford Housing.

George Wimpey Homes, Materials Controller 2000 – 2002
• Thistledown – 30 units of 3, 4 and 5 bed houses in Shipston on Stour
• Aderbury – 30 units of 3, 4 and 5 bed houses in Banbury
