Employed as a bank staff member, undertaking a range of duties, roles and shifts. This has enabled me to work throughout the NHS in various departments. Responsibilities included:
• Receiving and making phone calls to other departments and service users, aiming to resolve anyissues they have, order equipment and hiring transport
• Worked across various departments ranging from acute, medical, emergency and paediatric care. • Undertaking various tasks including providing personal care, observational checks, transporting service users between departments, assisting service users with meals, making beds and manual handling
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene, cleaning of medical equipment, service users environment is cleanand tidy in accordance to strict hygiene policies
• Gained knowledge of how to adapt my role for people with various medical conditions such as:Dementia, COPD, Learning Difficulties, Epilepsy, Asthma, Cancer, Mental Health conditions and addictions
• Handling any challenging situations with respect and to the correct procedures.

Youth Worker
C.A.N.D.I Youth Centre

A voluntary role within a local youth centre as part of a small team. Duties involved:
• Working with young adults providing them with activities and support
• Preparing light snacks ensuring Food Safety standards were met
• Training in: First Aid and Food Safety courses
